Gleamscale hoarded gold, jewels, and treasure before, during and after the Hundred Years War. Once the war ended and the planet became peaceful, Gleamscale saw a new way to get even richer. Trade. Gleamscale was one of the founders of Wingstreet and created the First National Bank of Drahon. Gleamscale loves the way the world is now and finds betting on Card Battles to be a very entertaining pastime. He loves Card Battles so much that he even participates in them from time to time.

Nobuna is the successor to the oldest and most powerful Ninja clan in all of Drahon. Despite Nobuna’s young age, she commanded a small group of ninja during the end of the Hundred Years War in order to protect her homeland while her grandmother and father were away commanding their own armies. Her shapeshifting abilities and ninjutsu were honed and mastered in the flames of these skirmishes. Despite the disapproval of her family, Nobuna actively sought out her other self after the war, believing that Card Battles were the path she needed to take to find her true destiny.

BUMBLEBEE PRINCESS, ROSELLA

“LET’S ALL WORK TOGETHER!”[USE][1/TURN](PAY 2 ENERGY):ADD ONE “WORKER BEE” FROM YOUR DROP TO YOUR OPEN PAGES

Even though they are much larger and more advanced, the Bees of the Rain Belt are still very similar to the Bees in our world. Their society is built around one single queen and many colonies have spawned from their one queen. The queen of bees has entrusted a Princess to run each colony. One of the most prosperous colonies is ruled by Princess Rosella. A young, happy go-lucky girl who truly cares for her subjects and hive. Unlike some of her sisters, Rosella’s hive never fell to an enemy attack and stood firm all through the Hundred years war. Rosella is so proud of her Hive and subjects that she can be seen helping the workers maintain the walls, much to the annoyance of her retainers.

STRONGEST MANTIS QUEEN, ERYA

“RULE BY FEAR”[USE][1/TURN](PAY 2 ENERGY):THIS LEADER GAINS +2 ATTACK AND +1 CRIT UNTIL THE END OF TURN

Erya controls the largest amount of land in Rain Belt. She amassed this territory by brutally killing every other insect queen she could find and integrating their populus into her kingdom. This means that Erya’s empire has a wide diversity of sentient insects. However, none of that particularly matters to her, Erya simply wishes to become the strongest being on Ceres. To achieve that goal, she will sacrifice anything and anyone, especially her own people. Erya revealed in the Hundred Years war, seeing it as a perfect opportunity to test her powers against other powerful beings and prove her dominance. Erya never cared about taking land or conquering other Nations during the war. She would simple hunt down enemy commanders, and slaughter them in one on one combat. Erya is known for her outbursts of rage. For example, after hearing that Raianna was defeated before Erya could challenge her, Erya devoured 4 villages in a berserker fit. In Erya’s mind, everything exists just to serve her.

MER-MAID LEADER, SABINE

“SWEEP THE TRASH AWAY”[USE][1/TURN](PAY 2 ENERGY):DEAL 2 DAMAGE TO A RANDOM ENEMY UNIT IN THE FRONT

Not much is known about Sabine’s past. Some say that she was trained from birth to be an assassin, others say that she was raised by dragons, perhaps she was born a killer and slaughtered her whole family, one rumor even claims that Sabine is the reincarnation of the devil. The only thing that is known for sure is that those who cross Sabine are swept from this world, never to be seen again. The earliest records of Sabine are from her mercenary contract with Deep Blue during the Hundred Year War. As the high commander of the Maids, Sabine is an assassin with no parallel in the entire ocean. Her employers have said that she is eerily polite and always wears a small chilling smile, even while killing.

REVERED PIRATE CAPTAIN, GREENBEARD

One of Greenbeards earliest memories is watching his father be gunned down in a battle against a rival pirate crew. Young Greenbeard watched as his father’s crew scattered and ran as he was taken prisoner. Since that day, Greenbeard swore that he would be different kind of Pirate, that he would build an seafaring legacy to stand the test of time. Greenbeard proved himself to his captors by working hard and eventually was granted his own ship. Almost immediately after, Greenbeard signed his crew on as mercenaries to fight for Deep Blue in the Hundred Years War. Fighting as a mercenary for the state gave him and his men a stable paycheck. War aged Greenbeard well, despite his years he is still a fearsome fighter. Greenbeard’s crew and own daughter were concerned about their future once the war had ended. But Greenbeard had a plan, he at once found his other self and continued to fight as a mercenary for Deep Blue, but this time in Card Battles. Greenbeard might be an old dog, but he can still learn a few tricks.

SEALED DEMON QUEEN, RAIANNA

“RELEASE THE CHAINS OF REBELLION!”[USE][1/TURN](PAY 2 ENERGY):A UNIT IN YOUR FRONT ROW LOSES [SEAL]

Even when she was a child, Rianna hated everyone and everything around her. She quickly sought out illegal augmentations and learned forbidden magics. Raianna took control of The Holy Kingdom’s underworld. Killing all who dared to displease her,  Raianna created a devoted cult. Raianna set out on a campaign of blood slaughtering millions on the surface and in the skies of Ceres. It was this unrestrained bloodshed that pushed the entire planet to the brink of the Hundred Years War. The king of the Holy Kingdom, Voltaeus, threw everything that he had into defeating Raianna. In the end, Voltaeus realized that he and Raianna were equal in strength. Therefore, Voltaeus used a forbidden art of his own, sealing the Demon Queen away. However, just over 100 years after Raianna’s capture the remains of her cult broke the seal of Voltaeus. This was not the same Ceres that Raianna left, the world was different, the planet’s path of fate had shifted and become tied to another world’s. This is something that Raianna refuses to accept. For now, she’ll play along, seeking out her other self and using these so called “Card Battles” to gain even more power. Soon however, she will find a way to destroy this “Earth” and release her shackles once and for all!

FAIRY PRINCESS, OHMERIA OF THE CLOUDED SKIES

Ohmeria is the direct descendant of King Voltaeus and next in line for the holy throne. Ohmeria doesn’t remember her grandfather Voltaeus, yet her whole life she has lived in his shadow. Voltaeus is heralded as the greatest ruler the kingdom has ever seen. Ohmeria’s mother, the current Queen, is seen by the populous as a disappointment after Voltaeus’ rule. Therefore, there is massive pressure on Ohmeria to prove that the Voltaeus family line can still rule, but also that Queens should continue be the leaders of the Holy Kingdom, as is tradition, instead of changing the laws and having Kings rule. This challenging upbringing has caused Ohmeria to be stiff and proper at all times. When Raianna broke free, Ohmeria saw an opportunity to gain the trust of her subjects and gladly joined the front lines in the new Card Battle conflict against Raianna and her cult. Of course, publicly, this campaign is to “protect the Holy Kingdom and defend the surface world from the wrath of the Demon Queen”. Leading her people herself, Ohmeria hopes to gain their trust and rule the Holy Kingdom as is her birth right.

IDOL GENERAL, TEMPEST BANSHEE CECILIA

Cecilia remembers being hunted and driven from her home after she died. Cecilia remembers trying to live in a miserable swamp and make a life there. Cecilia remembers how alone she was. Cecilia has dedicated her afterlife to making sure that no one is ever hurt the way she was again. Cecilia helped create the largest settlement of ghosts and even had a hand in the creation of the U.B.R. This new prosperity encouraged her to take up her old hobby that she had when she was alive, singing. As soon as she saw the joy that her music could bring to her fellow undead, Cecilia knew what she wanted to spend the rest of her life doing. This peace wouldn’t last however. When the flames of war consumed the planet, the U.B.R. was made a target as well. Cecilia quickly turned her idol group into a makeshift homeland security force. Cecilia and her fellow idols put their powerful Banshee’s song to great use repelling invaders. Cecilia knew that all this killing and war would create countless new undead, and that these undead would be attacked and mistreated just as she was. Therefore, Cecilia’s new idol army toured the world searching for undead born by in the carnage of war and bring them home where they would be safe. Even now that the Hundred Years war has ended, Cecilia’s work rescuing the undead continues, and she’ll gladly Card Battle anyone who harms her kin into submission~!

Stratos doesn’t remember who he was or where he came from before he died and he doesn’t care! The “Main Man” only cares about 3 things, killer music, hot vamp chicks, and happy fans! Stratos was crazy stoked when the Hundred Years war started, “What a great way to get more fans! Let’s spread the love!” This kicked off the Bloodwalkerz World Tour, going from nation to nation, battlefield to battlefield, army to army, blasting away every soldier they saw with bone crushing rock and roll. “If y’all’r gonna kill each other over something stupid, how about you die to my music instead! See? Ain’t the afterlife much better now that you’re my fan? LISTEN TO THOSE CHEERS!” When asked in an interview what his plans were now that the war was over, Stratos said “Well, I’m going to keep the band going, for sure, and this “Card Battle” thing sounds fun! Maybe I can use it to branch out and get even more fans and make even more people smile! YAHOO!”

Crinsceptus is no stranger to war, even before the Hundred Years war began. Crinsceptus spent his youth as the only son of a warlord desperately trying to keep his territory together and retain power. However, all that changed the day he learned about the ancient wisdoms of his warlock ancestors. Leaving his clan to his cousin, Crinsceptus traveled the Elder Territories learning from priests, sages, shamans, and mages, everything he could about the ancient wisdoms and ancestral magics. Crinsceptus later returned to his homeland and challenged his cousin to a duel to decide who gained the title and power of warlord. Crinsceptus killed his cousin with a single spell demonstrating to all the nearly forgotten power of knowledge. Using his regained control, Crinsceptus ordered the construction of a new academy, one to collect all wisdom of the Elder Territoires. As warlord, Crinsceptus used his influence to invite scholars and mages to teach at his school, he sent out scouts and recruiters to attract fresh young minds to his academy. For the first time in a long time, the Elder Territories had a land that knew a bit of peace. That is until the Hundred Years war came. When Raianna and the other warmbloods brought death to their lands, the warlords of the Elder Territories knew that it was time to put aside their petty squabbles and band together to fight. Crinsceptus and Gigante, being the two most powerful warlords, were the primary commanders in the Elder Territories forces. Crinsceptus put his students to work supporting the Biker and Talon infantry. Crinsceptus’ war tactics were proven on the battlefield. The power and ruthlessness of the warmbloods burned brightly in Crinsceptus’ mind even after the war. This drive for revenge, and the exhaustion of seeing his people relegated to the desert climates gave birth to a new plan for Crinsceptus. By terraforming the planet, warming it up, he could create new habitable lands for the Dinosaurs and exact revenge on the warmbloods in one fell swoop.

TALON BIKER BOSS, GIGANTE

Despite being young for a dinosaur, Gigante is one of the most powerful warlords in the entire Elder Territories. Gigante was born in an unnamed town that sat on the border between two gangs. Gigante’s hometown was ransacked in one of the countless wars between those two groups. As such, Gigante had to learn to survive, or die. He became a ruthless wanderer stealing and killing to live. Over time, Gigante found others like himself and started his own gang, The Talon. Gigante’s terrifying charisma served him well while assimilating other gangs under his banner. Gigante is known for being fair, but strict. Rewarding those who serve him well, and making examples of the failures. When Gigante incorporated a Biker Gang into his organization, he found his favorite thing in the whole world. Part of Gigante’s success in conquest can be attributed to his implementation of motorcycles in combat. He would be seen leading his men into battle at the front of the charge on his custom bike. After a massive and successful assimilation of countless smaller gangs and warlords, The Talon had become a massive and successful mafia. It was this success that gave Gigante the station of general once the Hundred Years war began. In this massive war, Gigante’s courage and charisma were on full display once again. After the war, Gigante became a famous warrior in all of the Elder Territories, attracting countless young men and women seeking the freedom promised by Gigante and his biker mafia.
