WHEN WILL THE GAME BE RELEASED?
Card Battle Spirit Link is currently in development. A free demo and beta version of the game are planned to be released in 2018
WILL CARD BATTLE SPIRIT LINK HAVE MICRO-TRANSACTIONS?
No. Unlike most digital card games, Card Battle Spirit Link does not use booster packs. Instead, Card Battle Spirit Link uses the "living card game" model. Purchasing the game gives you unlimited access to all cards in the core set. In the future, expansion sets will be released. Purchasing an expansion set will give you unlimited access to all cards in that expansion. This was done to provide a superior user experience.
WHAT IS THE "SPELL BOOK SYSTEM"?
Instead of using traditional decks, cards are placed in order to form the “pages” of the book. The book's pages are never shuffled and will always be in order. This makes it easy to build a cohesive and consistent strategy. At the start of the game, your Leader card, page 1, will automatically be played. Then, the cards that represent pages 2 and 3 will be available. At the start of your next turn, you must turn the page making pages 4 and 5 visible and available. However, this renders pages 3 and 2 no longer visible and thus inaccessible. In Card Battle Spirit Link you either use your pages, or lose your pages.
